Privacy Policy

Draft updated: September 17, 2026
Effective date: September 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LST, trading as FabProfit System ("FabProfit", "we", "us" or "our"), handles personal information when you visit our website, buy or use the system, join the community or contact us.

It covers the FabProfit website at gregsheldon.github.io/fabprofit, our connected Systeme.io order and learning pages, and our related customer communications. We serve customers in Canada and the United States. The rights and requirements that apply depend on your location, the activity involved and the scope of the relevant law.

2. Information we collect and why

InformationHow it reaches us and what we use it for
Name, email, business details and billing contact informationYou provide these when ordering, enrolling, subscribing or contacting us. We use them to identify your account, deliver access, communicate with you and administer your purchase.
Order and payment recordsOur checkout and payment providers supply purchase amounts, payment status, transaction references and refund or subscription records. We use them for billing, access, bookkeeping and resolving payment issues.
Learning and account activityThe learning platform records activity such as enrolment, login activity, lesson progress and submitted quiz responses. We use available records to deliver and support the training.
Community profile and postsYou choose the information, comments and attachments you share. We use them to operate and moderate the community and respond to questions.
Support messages and filesYou provide questions, correspondence and any examples you send for help. We use these to respond and keep a record of the issue.
Technical informationHosting and service providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device details, request times and security or error logs when you use their services. These help deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Systeme.io analytics and funnel activitySysteme.io supplies statistics about visits, sign-ups, orders and other interactions with our pages on its platform. Depending on its configuration, related records can include technical identifiers, referral information and interaction times. We use available statistics to understand interest, improve our pages and assess how visitors become customers.
Email engagement informationOur Systeme.io email tools use tracking pixels and tracked links to record information such as whether an email image was loaded, which links were clicked, and related times and technical details. We use this to measure engagement and improve the timing and relevance of communications. Open records can be affected by email-provider privacy features and are not always evidence that a person read an email.

We seek information reasonably needed for these purposes. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or sensitive personal documents in email or community posts. Information you choose to send from an estimate or workbook is treated as support or community content.

3. Systeme.io and other services involved in delivery

Systeme.io is our platform for order pages, enrolment, training access, community, customer email, built-in analytics and email tracking. It processes the account, order, learning and engagement information needed for those functions. We use its built-in tools and do not add a separate analytics service or advertising-network pixel.

Systeme.io uses its own service providers to operate its platform. Its role and those arrangements are described in the Systeme.io Privacy Policy. Using one main platform does not mean that no other provider processes information.

Payment details are handled by the payment service presented through the Systeme.io checkout. We receive the transaction information needed to administer purchases, instalments, refunds and memberships. The checkout payment service's privacy information applies to its handling of payment data.

Our public landing page is hosted on GitHub Pages, which receives technical connection information, including visitor IP addresses for security. Our promotional and introduction videos use YouTube, and correspondence sent to our Gmail contact address is handled by Google. These delivery services are separate from the analytics and email platform we use.

See the GitHub Privacy Statement and Google Privacy Policy for their practices. Provider policies do not replace our responsibility for personal information under our control.

We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities when necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse or protect legal rights. We limit disclosure to what is appropriate in the circumstances. Other members can see information you choose to post to the community.

4. Cookies, videos and tracking choices

Systeme.io and the services involved in checkout may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for functions such as sign-in, security, remembering choices and processing transactions. Systeme.io also provides the analytics and email-engagement information described in section 2.

We have not added separate advertising-network pixels or a separate website-analytics service. This statement describes our own integrations; services involved in delivering the website, videos, checkout and email may process information under their own policies.

The FabProfit landing page uses video cover images and loads an embedded YouTube player when you choose to play a video. The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding mode. Loading the player sends technical connection and playback information to Google. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information is collected.

You can control cookies through your browser and use the privacy choices made available by the relevant platform. Blocking required storage may affect login or checkout. Cookie settings do not necessarily stop account-based processing or email tracking. Settings may need to be adjusted separately on different browsers or devices.

To ask about optional analytics, withdraw consent or make a privacy request, email gregwsheldon@gmail.com. We will explain the choices available for the relevant processing and act on applicable privacy rights. Declining optional marketing does not remove your purchased training access. Section 7 explains how to stop marketing emails.

5. Community posts and customer examples

Your profile information, comments and attachments may be visible to other members who have access to the relevant community area. A member community is not a confidential professional-advice channel, and we cannot guarantee that another member will not copy information.

Only share customer drawings, pricing, employee details or project information when you have authority to do so. Remove unnecessary identifying or confidential details. Contact us if you need help removing your own personal information from a post; legal obligations, backups or other members' copies can affect what can be removed.

We will obtain separate permission before using your identifiable community contribution, name, photograph or project information as a public testimonial or promotional case study.

6. Consent and your choices

We explain why information is needed when we collect it and obtain consent where required. We may also process information without consent where applicable law permits or requires it. Using the website does not give us blanket permission for unrelated marketing or new uses of personal information.

You can decline optional information or ask to withdraw consent by contacting Greg. We will explain any consequences. For example, we need an email address and sufficient account records to provide online access. Withdrawing marketing consent does not cancel your purchase or remove training access. Legal recordkeeping requirements can limit immediate deletion.

7. Email communications

We send purchase confirmations, access instructions and service or billing messages needed to administer your account. We send promotional messages and community renewal invitations only with the consent or other lawful basis required for those messages.

You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in a marketing email or by emailing Greg. We process requests without delay and no later than 10 business days, or sooner if applicable law requires it. We follow the consent, sender-identification and unsubscribe requirements applicable to our messages, including Canada's anti-spam law and the United States CAN-SPAM Act where they apply. We may still send necessary non-promotional messages about an existing purchase or account.

We send marketing emails through Systeme.io and use its open and click tracking as described in section 2. Blocking remote images in your email application can limit some open tracking, but it does not necessarily prevent tracked-link activity. Use the unsubscribe link to stop future marketing emails, or contact Greg about your privacy choices.

We retain appropriate consent and unsubscribe records so we can respect your preferences. Unsubscribing from email does not itself cancel a paid community subscription; contact us with a cancellation request as explained in the Terms of Purchase and Use.

8. Where information is handled

LST's business contact address is in Portland, Ontario, Canada. Our service providers and their subprocessors may store or process information in Canada, the United States, the European Economic Area or other countries where they operate. Foreign courts, law-enforcement agencies or other authorities may have lawful access under those countries' laws.

We remain responsible for appropriate handling of information under our control when a provider processes it for us. Contact Greg if you want more information about a provider or processing location relevant to your account.

9. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing purchased access, administering memberships, resolving support matters and meeting legal obligations. Purchase and tax records may need to be kept after access ends. Consent and suppression records may be kept to demonstrate and honour email preferences.

Lifetime training access can require retaining basic identity, entitlement and account records for as long as we provide that access. Analytics and email-engagement records serve different purposes. Their retention is based on the period needed to assess the relevant page or campaign, resolve an associated support issue and meet a legal obligation, together with the records and deletion options available in Systeme.io. They are not kept indefinitely merely because training access is for life.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable, subject to lawful retention requirements and backup-management processes. Deleting an account does not automatically delete records we are required to retain.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, including account-access controls and restricting access to people and providers who need it. No online system is completely secure. If a privacy incident occurs, we assess it and make notifications or reports required by applicable law.

10. Access, correction and privacy requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used or disclosed, and request access or correction. You may also ask us to delete information or withdraw consent, subject to applicable rights, exceptions and retention requirements.

Canadian residents: applicable federal or provincial privacy law may give you rights to information about our practices, access, correction, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to the relevant privacy regulator. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the law that applies.

United States residents: where a state privacy law applies to our business and your information, you may have rights to know or access information, obtain a portable copy, correct or delete information, and opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. Some laws provide additional rights concerning sensitive information, certain profiling, authorized agents and appeals. Those rights apply only to the extent provided by the relevant law; they do not depend simply on purchasing a course.

Email Greg with enough information to identify your account and explain your request. We may verify your identity using information proportionate to the request. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and arrange an appropriate method.

See section 4 for cookie controls and tracking questions. You can also email a privacy request to Greg. Where the law permits an authorized agent, we may request appropriate evidence of the agent's authority. We do not require an account simply to submit a privacy request, and verification requirements will reflect the type of request and applicable law.

We respond within applicable legal timelines and do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right. If we cannot fully fulfil a request, we explain the reason and available next steps. Where an appeal right applies, email Greg with "Privacy appeal" and the original request details; we will review it and explain the outcome and further complaint options within the applicable timeframe.

You can raise a concern with Greg or contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, an applicable provincial privacy commissioner, your United States state attorney general or another authority with jurisdiction over your complaint.

11. Younger learners

FabProfit is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children under 13. If a school, employer or parent wants access for a minor, contact us to arrange suitable authorization and account handling before enrolment. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact Greg.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. We will show the effective date and provide additional notice or obtain fresh consent where required for a material change. Posting a revised policy does not by itself authorize an unrelated new use of information already collected.

Questions about this policy can be sent to gregwsheldon@gmail.com.
